Its the sort of classic good-value-for-money eatery, gourmets
swear by. Situated inconspicuously in the middle circle of Connaught Place, it is
small, low-profile, clean, with a distinctive edge in cuisine, and a decent line
in prices. Relatively new, it has gained a committed clientele through word of mouth.
Outstanding items on its menu are the paper-wrapped, deep-fried prawns served with
oyster dip, mince lamb chilli, prawn pepper salt, and honey chicken. For vegetarians,
there is baby corn mushroom, bamboo shoot and kung pao vegetables. Clear wonton
as soup, standard ginger ale as drinks, and litchi ice cream for dessert are recommended
accompaniments. Rs.300-350 is good for a meal for two.
